About the Program, Curriculum, Learning Goals, Tuition and Contact

At Bilkent University Faculty of Business Administration, students receive a contemporary, world-class business education that prepares them for professional success in Turkey and around the world.
Our Undergraduate Program combines foundational business courses with electives in key areas, supported by an interactive and technology-driven curriculum. Students develop essential skills in critical thinking, communication, and teamwork, all of which are highly valued in today’s business environment.
Learning is enriched through projects with local and international firms, guest lectures from industry professionals, and opportunities for internships and mentoring. With 62 exchange agreements worldwide, our faculty also offers strong international exposure and a diverse student community, including international students, exchange students, and students from more than 40 cities across Turkey.
The quality of our academic environment is reflected in the Distinguished Teacher Award of Bilkent University, received by six of our faculty members. Our graduates go on to hold positions in leading national and global companies across different industries, demonstrating the strength of our programs.
Curriculum
The undergraduate curriculum exposes the student to basic social sciences through courses in economics, psychology, sociology and history. Courses in mathematics and statistics are included to provide the background necessary for technical skills. Basic courses in the functional areas of business are offered in first, second, and third years. In addition, the curriculum provides advanced elective courses in business functional areas to allow students to focus on areas of their choice. During four years of education, an academic advisor is assigned to every student for the program consultancy.
Learning Goals and Objectives
Upon successful completion of coursework for BA in Business Administration, students will be able to:
Goal 1: Business professional with a global mindset equipped with business knowledge and skills
- Objective 1. Demonstrate a broad understanding of the core business functions
- Objective 2. Demonstrate an understanding of the codified body of knowledge in business administration/management
- Objective 3. Identify and apply appropriate analytical tools in core business functions
- Objective 4. Have working knowledge and skill in using spreadsheets and similar supportive software for business analysis
Goal 2: Critical thinker
- Objective 5. Think critically – infer, deduce, interpret, recognize assumptions, and evaluate arguments
Goal 3: Socially responsible business professionals
- Objective 6. Show awareness of the ethical components of a business decision
- Objective 7. Show awareness of and commitment to (i) respect for others’ persons, opinions and beliefs, and (ii) equal treatment of individuals regardless of gender and other characteristics, both for internal and external stakeholders and in business situations and in society at large
- Objective 8. Show awareness of sustainable business practices locally, nationally and/or globally.
Goal 4: Effective communicator
- Objective 9. Produce quality professional written documents on a business topic in English suited for an audience
- Objective 10. Deliver a quality professional presentation on a business topic to an audience using the appropriate technology
Goal 5: Effective team player
- Objective 11. Function in teams in a business environment effectively
Goal 6: Business professional equipped with English language skills for professional and personal development
- Objective 12. Will have a good command of English that will enable them to follow the developments in the theory and practice of their profession that occur globally and are communicated in English
Tuition

For students admitted to Bilkent University through the national ÖSYM examination and placement system (YKS), tuition fees are quoted in Turkish Lira and announced annually. These fees are determined in accordance with university regulations and are subject to revision by the University’s Board of Trustees. Detailed information on tuition payments, including installment options and deadlines, is shared with students before the start of each academic year.
