* CONCENTRATION AREAS *
The Master of Science in Business Administration aims to strengthen students’ theoretical foundations in the following four areas:
- Finance
- Management and Organization Studies
- Marketing
- Operations Management
Each concentration area has tailored coursework to meet its objectives and interests. The rigorous curriculums and a master’s thesis train students to tackle some of the most complex problems facing the contemporary business world. Learning Goals and Objectives
Upon successful completion of coursework and a thesis for the MS program, students will be able to:
Goal 1: Individuals equipped with knowledge in their specialty field (Finance; Marketing; Management and Organization; Operations Management)
- Objective 1. Demonstrate knowledge of theories, models, and tools relevant to their specialty field
Goal 2: Individuals able to conduct supervised research in the specialty field for scientific community and society at large
- Objective 2. Apply appropriate specialized theories, models and tools to formulate and solve new concrete business and managerial problems, as demonstrated in the MS thesis
- Objective 3. Include a dedicated section to the thesis discussing societal impact, i.e., include insights of the end users so that knowledge created in the thesis can benefit society at large.
Goal 3: Individuals equipped with written and oral communication skills
- Objective 4. Use written English effectively as a medium of communication of scholarly work
- Objective 5. Use spoken English effectively as a medium of communication of scholarly work
Goal 4: Individuals equipped with professional ethics
- Objective 6. Report the findings of others/ their own research in an honest and truthful manner avoiding plagiarism
- Objective 7. Ensure that the participants of the studies with human subjects are treated ethically, including informed consent, voluntary participation, confidentiality, anonymity, and humane treatment of subjects, when required
Tuition

For students admitted to Bilkent University through the national ÖSYM examination and placement system (YKS), tuition fees are quoted in Turkish Lira and announced annually. These fees are determined in accordance with university regulations and are subject to revision by the University’s Board of Trustees. Detailed information on tuition payments, including installment options and deadlines, is shared with students before the start of each academic year. Bilkent MS tuition fee is determined as a per credit fee. Each semester the tuition is the total amount of credits you will take in that semester.
Merit Based Scholarships
Awards range from partial tuition to full tuition and fees. All applicants (domestic and international) are considered for merit-based scholarships. Scholarship decisions are made at the time of admission and are included in your official mailed admission letter. All scholarship decisions are final. Work experience, ALES or GRE or GMAT scores, previous academic performance, reference letter and interview performance are all factors when making scholarship awards.
