Bilkent MBA program invites applicants with successful academic and professional achievements to join the Bilkent MBA community. Our program offers the following career tracks:
* CORPORATE CAREER TRACK *
Designed for young professionals aiming to build a managerial career, this track provides a strong foundation in all key disciplines of business administration. The program includes a core MBA curriculum covering essential management fundamentals, complemented by elective courses that allow students to tailor their studies according to their professional goals and aspirations.
Our students come from different parts of Turkey and overseas. They hold undergraduate degrees in engineering, business, economics, and science. They have diverse of work and cultural experiences. During the course of study, our students benefit from and contribute to the dynamic educational environment and gain management skills from faculty members as well as from each other.

Learning Goals and Objectives
AACSB accreditation expects from a school to list their learning goals for which it will demonstrate assurance of learning. The list of learning goals derives from the school’s mission. The mission and objectives set out the intentions of the school, and the learning goals say how the degree demonstrates the mission. The following learning goals describe the desired educational accomplishment of our MBA program.

Tuition

For students admitted to Bilkent University through the national ÖSYM examination and placement system (YKS), tuition fees are quoted in Turkish Lira and announced annually. These fees are determined in accordance with university regulations and are subject to revision by the University’s Board of Trustees. Detailed information on tuition payments, including installment options and deadlines, is shared with students before the start of each academic year. Bilkent MBA tuition fee is determined as a per credit fee. Each semester the tuition is the total amount of credits you will take in that semester.
Merit Based Scholarships
Awards range from partial tuition to full tuition and fees. All applicants (domestic and international) are considered for merit-based scholarships. Scholarship decisions are made at the time of admission and are included in your official mailed admission letter. All scholarship decisions are final. Work experience, ALES or GRE or GMAT scores, previous academic performance, reference letter and interview performance are all factors when making scholarship awards.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Is work experience required for the MBA program?
Work experience is highly desirable for admission to the MBA program; however, it is not a formal requirement. Relevant work experience can compensate for a lower CGPA or ALES or GMAT or GRE scores.
Q2. Is a GMAT score required for application to the MBA program?
No. You can also apply with ALES or GRE scores.
Q3. Can I work while participating in the MBA program?
Yes. A large portion of our students choose to work while they are in the Bilkent MBA program.
Q4. Is there a minimum cumulative grade point average to apply for the MBA program?
We invite applications from all candidates holding B.S. or B.A. degrees from various fields and there is no minimum GPA requirement. However, a low GPA must be compensated for by a high ALES or GMAT of GRE score or work experience to qualify for admission.
Q5. What is the minimum score to apply for the MBA program?
The minimum ALES score for applications is 55 EA or equivalent GMAT or GRE scores. Admission to the program is highly competitive.
Q6. If I retake my standardized test (e.g., GMAT, GRE, ALES), will you take the latest or the highest score?
We accept the highest score that you have achieved on the test, so if you wish to try and improve upon your existing score before you apply, there is no reason not to do so.
Q7. What is the interview about?
The goal of the interview is to assess the applicant’s suitability for an MBA program and potential to be an executive. The interview lasts between 15 and 30 minutes and it is conducted in English. Interviews are conducted face-to-face or online.
Q8. What scores do I need to receive a tuition scholarship?
There is no fixed number of scholarships and there are no minimum requirements for a scholarship. We emphasize that scholarships are competitive and depend on the entire applicant pool. On average, at least a third of an incoming class receives the scholarship. Tuition scholarships are available at four different levels: 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%.

Q9. Is it possible to apply for student dormitories?
Yes, MBA students can apply for dormitories. Foreign students are guaranteed a dormitory slot. For dormitory fees click here.
Q10. What are the rules/regulations?
All MBA, MSc and PhD students are subject to the rules and regulations of Bilkent University, Institute of Economics and Social Sciences (ESBE).
